increasing by N% means the new value is 1+N/100 as much as the old value. So, we have
new = old*(1+1)(1+1.5) = 5.00 * old
so, old = new/5 or 20%
new = old*(1+1)(1+1.5) = 5.00 * old
so, old = new/5 or 20%
