Ben is setting up a tent. The sides that slope to the ground each measure 5.25 feet. If the sides and the ground form a triangle, what is the range of possible lengths for the base?

Consider the tent laid out flat. It would be 10.5 feet across.
So, as long as the base is less than that, the sides have to fold up.
Extra credit: considering the size of a person sleeping under the tent, what is a more reasonable restriction?
