Solve 3^2x-b =27 using proper math conventions.
This is how I solved The question but I’m not sure what it means by conventions.
For x
3^2x-b=27
3^2x-b=3^3
Cancel base of 3 here
2x-b=3
2x=3+b
X=(3+b)/2
For b
3^2x-b=27
3^2x-b=3^3
Cancel base of 3 here
2x-b=3
-b= -2x+3
And then I multiplied both sides by -1 to make a -b and -2x positive
b= 2x-3
