A powerful motorcycle can accelerate from rest to 27.1 m/s in only 4.37 s.
1)What is its average acceleration?
__________________________m/s^2
2) How far does it travel in that time?

acceleration = change in velocity / change in time
if a is constant then v is linear in time and
average speed = (final speed + original speed ) / 2
= ( 27.1+ 0 ) / 2
distance = average speed * time
