Will have form
y = m x + b
where b is the slope and b is the value of y when x = 0
so
first the slope m
goes from y = -1 to y = 4
that is 5
goes from x = 0 to x = 3
that is 3
so
m = 5/3
now when x = 0, we already know y = -1 so b = -1
so
y = (5/3) x - 1
or
3 y = 5 x -3
y = m x + b
where b is the slope and b is the value of y when x = 0
so
first the slope m
goes from y = -1 to y = 4
that is 5
goes from x = 0 to x = 3
that is 3
so
m = 5/3
now when x = 0, we already know y = -1 so b = -1
so
y = (5/3) x - 1
or
3 y = 5 x -3
