what is this in a decimal? I tried plugging it in my calculator, but it wasn't working

there are lots of online calculators that can do this for you.

maybe your calculator can recognize arcsinh or argsinh.
If not, note that arcsinh(x) = ln(x + √(x^2+1))

not clear what you mean by
sinh-1(3), probably sinh<sup>-1</sup> (3)

sinh(x) is defined as (e^x - e^-x)/2

In a nice video, "blackpenredpen" shows that
sinh<sup>-1</sup> (x) = ln(x + √(x^2 + 1)

copy and paste this

then your
3√10 + sinh-1(3)
= 3√10 + ln(3 + √(9+1)
= 3√10 + ln(3 + √10)
= appr 11.3
