r^2 = 196
area = 196*22/7 = appr. 200 * appr 3 = about 600
actual answer = 14^2 * π = 615.752...
Strange question asking for estimate, then using 22/7.
You would probably use a calculator anyway which makes "estimating" not
necessary.
btw, who uses 22/7 for π in this day and age???

22/7 * (28/2)^2 = 22 * 14 * 2 ... cm^2

Hello Hello, Although my job as a teacher is to advise against this at your risk of being suspended or worse many students have been complaining about the second question to this themselves as stated in my first response, I would usually advise a student to use a website. And yes I do mean one that isn't for cheating purposes.
