The domain of a function f(x) is {x∈R|−4 ≤ x ≤ 16}. The range of f(x) is {y∈R| −8 ≤ y ≤ 12}

Given g(x) = 34f(−x+3) + 5, what is the domain and range of g(x) ?

help please !!

1 answer

g(x) = 34 f(-(x-3))
That is, the graph is shifted right by 3 and then reflected across the y-axis. That makes the domain [-1,19] reflected, or [-19,1]
The range is just multiplied by 34 and shifted up 5, or [-267,413]
