the x-intercepts tell us that
y = a(x+2)(x-1)
Now plug in (0,-2) to find a.
-2 = a(2)(-1)
a = 1
so y = (x+2)(x-1)
y = a(x+2)(x-1)
Now plug in (0,-2) to find a.
-2 = a(2)(-1)
a = 1
so y = (x+2)(x-1)
