Jason and Tina each had a set of flags. Tina had 4/9 as many flags as Jason. When Jason lost 21 flags, Tina then had twice as many as Jason. How many more flags did Tina have than Jason then?

t/j = 4/9
t = 2(j-21)
find t and j, and then t-j
t = 2(j-21)
find t and j, and then t-j

If originally Jason had x flags, then Tina had 4x/9 flags
Jason lost 21 flags so he has x-21 left
4x/9 = 2(x-21)
2x/9 = x-21
2x = 9x - 189
189 = 7x
x = 27
almost done, what did I find?
