Maxim has been offered positions by two cellphone companies. The first company pays a salary of 10,000 plus a commission of 1000 for each cellphone sold. The second company pays a salary of 20,000 plus a commission of 500 for each cellphone sold. How many cellphones would need to be sold to make the total pay the same?

10,000 + 1,000 c = 20,000 + 500 c
500 c = 10,000
c = 100/5 = 20
500 c = 10,000
c = 100/5 = 20
