The taiga biome has long, cold, dry winters and cool, wet summers. This biome receives very little sunlight during the winter and long hours of sunlight during the summer. In three to four sentences, describe one plant and one animal that you would expect to find in the taiga biome. Support your answer with the abiotic factors in the biome.

I help you with a little bit but not the answer that is copying someone's work well Animals found in the Arctic tundra include herbivorous mammals (lemmings, voles, caribou, arctic hares, and squirrels), carnivorous mammals (arctic foxes, wolves, and polar bears), fish (cod, flatfish, salmon, and trout), insects (mosquitoes, flies, moths, grasshoppers, and blackflies), and birds (ravens, snow buntings, falcons, loons, sandpipers, terns, and gulls). Reptiles and amphibians are absent because of the extremely cold temperatures. While many of the mammals have adaptations that enable them to survive the long cold winters and to breed and raise young quickly during the short summers, most birds and some mammals migrate south during the winter. Migration means that Arctic populations are in continual flux. so then you can read this and I put some links down below www.britannica.com/science/taig that should help

The taiga has long, cold, dry winters, and cool, wet summers. This means that they aren't used to the warm temperatures. Also meaning that they would have to adapt or they might die. It might also affect the plants and animals because they may not be able to find to or make it rather. Having that being said they do not have all the key things for them to live meaning they WILL die.
Biotic and abiotic factors are living and nonliving things biotics meaning living and abiotic meaning nonliving. Soil for example in nonliving and a bird is. Now when you think about it soil could be living because it has it nutrients but the dirt itself isn't living. All things that eat breath and drink are biotic or living. Such as animals and plants. All things that aren't living can't make their own food nor do they even eat, these things include mulch, air, mud, and so on. So to sum everything up, Biotic means living and abiotic means non-living.
Hope this helps and you can get your extra points!

Here you go, i have been writing this for a while but it should work. Make sure to change a bit about it so she cant look it up and find where you got it from.
Most animals would most likely die due to being overheated, they would have their winter coats on and would be WAY to hot for them to survive in a hot and dry biome compared to their old snowy and freezing cold biome. The other animals who didn't have huge fur coats would most likely find shelter near water sources which would be scarce at that point because most ponds would have dried up, the ones that didn't would already have way to many inhabitants for any new animals to live by. They would no doubt start eating each other for food as well at some point due to there being so many predator and prey living in one area so close to one another. In conclusion, I think there are few animals that could actually survive this change, they would have to have a very small coat of fur and would have to live near a water source, as well as stay away from any predator trying to eat you, then they would also have to find food for themselves or their families.

For people that do not want a whole paragraph for an answer, here's a small 3 sentence thing to put in for a smaller answer.
*REMEMBER- PUT IN YOUR OWN WORDS :D
One plant I could find would be a vascular plant, and an animal found could be a herbivorous mammal like a squirrel. Biotic factors are living, and abiotic factors are nonliving. In a taiga biome, it is most likely to find abiotic factors, as the extreme climate isn't desirable for biotic factors.
Hope this helps! :>
