|3x+5| - 4 = 9
|3x+5| = 12
3x+5 = ±12
so you need to solve
3x+5 = 12
x = 7/3
and
3x+5 = -12
x = -17/3
do the other in like wise
|3x+5| = 12
3x+5 = ±12
so you need to solve
3x+5 = 12
x = 7/3
and
3x+5 = -12
x = -17/3
do the other in like wise
