Recall the intercept form of a line.
If the intercepts are a and b, then
x/a + y/b = 1
Since you want a = 2b,
2/(2b) + 3/b = 1
b = 4
so the line is
x/8 + y/4 = 1
x+2y = 8
If the intercepts are a and b, then
x/a + y/b = 1
Since you want a = 2b,
2/(2b) + 3/b = 1
b = 4
so the line is
x/8 + y/4 = 1
