The Efficiency of an Automobile Engine is 30 % where the Heat input is provided through the burning of fuel. The fuel burns with a value of 44,000 KJ/Kg. The fuel has a density of 800 Kg/m3 and a volume flow rate of 22 L/hr.
(i) Find the mass flow rate of fuel.
(ii) Find the Net Work Output of the Engine to the wheels
(iii) Draw a Neat Diagram exhibiting the Heat Engine.

22 Liters / hour * 800 kg / 1000 Liters = 17.6 kg/hour
17.6 kg/hour * 44,000 *10^3 J /kg = 774,400 *10^3 Joules/hr
774,400 *10^3 Joules/hr * 0.30 = 232,320 *10^3 Joules/hr output to wheels
