Pauline has 18 cups of flour. She makes cakes that require 1¾ cups each. If she makes as many cakes as she has flour, how much flour will be left over?

18/(1 3/4) = 18 * 4/7 = 72/7
2/7 * 7/4 = 1/2 cup left over.
check: 10 * 1 3/4 = 17 1/2 c used for 10 cakes, leaving 1/2 cup unused.
