The coefficients will tell you every time. Worked as follows:
1.5 mols H2 x (1 mol N2/3 moles H2) = 1.5 x 1/3 = ?
1.5 mols H2 x (1 mol N2/3 moles H2) = 1.5 x 1/3 = ?
