3000 kg of exhaust steam is condensed/h in a surface condenser. The dryness fraction of the steam entering the is 0.85.the barometer reads 760mm Hg and the vacuum gauge reading os 680 mm Hg. if the rise in temperature of the cooling water is 12°C , determine the mass of cooling water required per kg of steam condensed. The condensate is removed at a temperature of 32°C
