How many mL of glacial acetic acid would you pipette to prepare a solution of 100mL of 5 M acetic acid solution? (Hint: what is the molarity of glacial acetic acid?)

    I think I remember that glacial acetic acid has a molarity of 17.4 so I would use the dilution formula of ml1 x M1 = mL2 x M2
17.4 x mL = 100 mL x 5 M
Solve for mL of the 17.4 to pipet into a 100 mL volumetric flask.

17.4 x mL = 100 mL x 5 M
Solve for mL of the 17.4 to pipet into a 100 mL volumetric flask.
