A bottle rocket is shot into the air and travels across the street 500 feet away. if it travels in a parabolic path reaching a maximal height of 525 ft. Find it’s equation in graphing form (y=a(x-h)^2+k)

You know the maximum height is reached midway between the roots, so the vertex is at (250,525). So,
y = a(x-250)^2 + 525
You also know that y(0) = 0, so
a*250^2 + 525 = 0
so a = -525/250^2 = -21/2500
y = -21/2500 (x-250)^2 + 525
y = a(x-250)^2 + 525
You also know that y(0) = 0, so
a*250^2 + 525 = 0
so a = -525/250^2 = -21/2500
y = -21/2500 (x-250)^2 + 525
