Good afternoon.
I am working or trying to work on Dimensional Analysis. I have the following problems that I need a bit of assistance on again
1ft with the little 3 in the corner-----------> m with the 3 in the corner next to m. I don't know that the 3 stands for?
(Note: 3.28ft=1m)
Do I have to figure out what 3.28ft is in meters or how many meters this would total?
I am very confused on this one. I know that 1m=3.28ft

I suspect you mean ft^3 and m^3
cubic feet and cubic meters
in that case
if 3.28 ft = 1 meter
then a cube 1 meter on each side will be
3.28 * 3.28 * 3.28 or 3.28^3 ft^3
3.28^3 = 35.3 ft^3
so the conversion factor is 35.3 ft^3/m^3
cubic feet and cubic meters
in that case
if 3.28 ft = 1 meter
then a cube 1 meter on each side will be
3.28 * 3.28 * 3.28 or 3.28^3 ft^3
3.28^3 = 35.3 ft^3
so the conversion factor is 35.3 ft^3/m^3

Hello Damon,
I see that stands for cubic feet or cubic meters. I will have to study the way you showed to do the conversion. So basically when I get my answer I would right it m^3 is that right?
Thank you so very much Damon. You are smart.

Yes, you would write it as m^3. You are converting ft^3 to m^3 or cubic feet to cubic meters using the factor which Damon provided.
