express with a common denominator. Then you just have to compare the numerators. For example
1/4 = 2/8, so clearly 3/8 > 2/8

D: 5/16, 8/16, 12/16, 6/16
so, that would be 5,6,8,12 or 5/16, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4
