The cost of petrol for a 270 km journey for a car which run 12km on each liter of petrol is 524.what would be the cost for 500 km journey for a van which runs 11km on each liter of petrol

so, since the price per liter is unchanged,
cost * km/L / km is constant
So, you want c such that
c * 11 / 500 = 524 * 12 / 524
c = 6000/11 = 545.45
