What explanation does Atticus give to Jem for not taking action (legal or otherwise) against Bob Ewell?
I can't figure out where this happens, I've reread the chapter multiple times and still can't figure it out. Please Help!

I still don't get where Atticus even talks to Jem about the whole situation about not taking any action towards Bob.
