Suppose that the functions p and q are defined as follows.
p (x) = -x

q (x) = -2x +2
Find the following.
(p×q)(-5)
(q ×p)(-5)

If you meant that p(x) = -x/2, then
(p*q)(x) = p(q) = -q/2 = -(-2x+2)/2 = x-1
(q*p)(x) = q(p) = -2p+2 = -2(-x/2)+2 = x+1
Now just use whatever value of x you want
