4 4/5 = 24/5
24/5 / 2/5 = 24/5 * 5/2
= 24/2
= 12
I do not understand Part B.
24/5 / 2/5 = 24/5 * 5/2
= 24/2
= 12

part A:
4 4/5 = 24/5
24/5 / 2/5 = 24/5 * 5/2
= 24/2
= 12
part B:
quotient means the answer you get when dividing because we divided to get 12
4 4/5 = 24/5
24/5 / 2/5 = 24/5 * 5/2
= 24/2
= 12
part B:

Hi!
For part A it is: 12! Here is my work: 4 4/5 = 24/5
24/5 / 2/5 = 24/5 x 5/2 = 24/2= 12
For part B it is: The quotient means the amount of foot pieces Tara can cut from the 4 4/5 feet of rope.
Hope I helped! :)
