A positive charge is moving toward positive Y axis (upward). What is the direction of the magnetic at the point P?

Something about the statement is confusing me.
If the external B is in the direction of movement, no acceleration nor change in direction is observed, so B must be along the Y axis. However, a lot of things can be read into this problem, namely is the velocity constant?
