I am taking the Using Tables, Rules, and Graphs quiz part 2, and I dont understand these two problems.

1. Use the function rule to complete the table: -10x+y=y
Above it shows a graph, with x and y marked, then along the top it goes -2, -1, 0, 1, 2
I don't know what it is asking or how to solve it

2. Find the function rule
It shows a graph, with x and y labeled
x: -2 -1 0 1 2
y: 9 4 -1 -6 -11

I have to show all the steps I used to find the answer

Please help I don't understand

I hope you know what a table is.
They give you the x- values, and want you to use the rule to find the corresponding y values. Unfortunately, -10x+y=y has only the solution x=0, no matter what y is. I suspect a typo. So, suppose the rule were y = -10x+3. Then the table would be
x y
-2 23
-1 13
0 3
...

For #2, note that y grows by -5 for each change in x by 1. That means that the rule is something like y = 5x
But, when x=0, 5x is also 0. But the rule states that y = -1. So the rule should be
y = -5x-1
Sure enough, that works for all the table entries.
