I agree with you about 1, 2, 6, and 7.

I disagree about 3 (pay attention to the word "arid") and 4 (Google "Lusitania" to find out).

5 is probably correct, but check your text to be sure.

Writeteacher, thank you but I do not have a Text Book, the school gave me amath and a language book but not a history text book, what should you recommend me to do for 5?
Answered by Writeacher
Well, since #5 includes "workers" and "unions," the term "labor" is probably correct.

And remember that "text" doesn't always mean "book"! My granddaughter's texts through high school were all online, and not always in online book format.

What about a subsurface paker it says it was used to grow plants in dry areas.
Answered by Writeacher
a subsurface what?
Answered by Lola Perez
Never Mind it's probably not the answer anyways, I google Lusitania and it might not be a submarine but i cant find one that connects to the data like the Lusitania.
Answered by Writeacher
It was a German submarine that sank the Lusitania. I don't know if any website gives the German ship's name or not. You might Google "name of submarine that sank lusitania"

Kapitänleutnant Walther Schwieger (Wilhem Otto Walther Schwieger) (7 April 1885 – 5 September 1917) was a U-boat commander in the Imperial German Navy (Kaiserliche Marine) during First World War. In 1915, he sank the passenger liner RMS Lusitania with the loss of 1,198 lives, so It would be a German Submarine that sank a British Ocean Liner and killed all those 128 americans?!
Answered by Writeacher
Right.

I've never been able to find the name of that particular U-boat (Unterseeboot). I don't know if they had names or just numbers. But it was a German Uboat/submarine.

Writeteacher some lifesaver you are! But I'm still wondering about #3 what could it possibly be, I search up many things but nothing yet..
Answered by Writeacher
The only thing I can think of for #3 is something regarding how they got water to the crops. Canals? Huge sprinkler systems? Irrigation ditches from a river or lake? I'm not sure.

Of course, it could be other things, but the word "arid" in the sentence makes me think they want an answer related to how they watered crops in that climate.
Answered by Lola Perez
So your saying it can or cannot be an invention made by us or it could be a resource in there earth?
Answered by Writeacher
It's probably some kind of man-made invention that manages to take water and "guide" it somewhere else. In Utah, I think of the rivers in the mountains. Are any of them dammed up and then have agricultural "canals" made to divert water to crop fields?

What about Crop Rotation? Could that be it?
Answered by Damon
Maybe just say "irrigation" for #3 ? It does not ask where you found the water.
