Question

If 240 mL of 0.583 M aqueous H2SO4 and 89.1 g of solid CaCO3 are reacted stoichiometrically according to the balanced equation, how many grams of solid CaCO3 remain? Round your answer to 3 significant figures.

240mL * 0.583M = 0.140 moles of H2SO4
That will use up 0.140 moles of CaCO3
Convert that to grams and subtract from 89.1
