Doesn't help. Is the triangle equilateral and 7a-2 is the length of each side?
If so, then
3(7a-2) = 47
21a - 6 = 47
21a = 53
a = 53/21 metres
If so, then
3(7a-2) = 47
21a - 6 = 47
21a = 53
a = 53/21 metres
