If the hypotenuse is 41 inches and one of the legs are 40 inches how long is the other??

40^2 + x^2 = 41^2
x^2 = 1681 - 1600
x^2 = 81
x = 9
x^2 = 1681 - 1600
x^2 = 81
x = 9
