Percents*
Math tutors may have more ideas for you.

The word “of” usually means you need to multiply.
37% needs to be converted to .37 before using it in a math problem.

For help with percents, click on Numbers, then on Percentages or Decimals or whatever topic you need help with.
You could "estimate", and then do lots and lots of practice : )
If you estimate... you could use "friendly" numbers. So 37% could be "nice and friendly" at 50% and 280 would become 300. So your answer would be less than 150, and... if you use 25% that would be half of your 150 or 75. So your answer "using friendly" numbers is between 75 and 150 : ) And since 37% is part way between 25 and 50, your answer would be pretty much exactly halfway between 75 and 150, that is 100.
That way, when you practice, practice, practice you know a great estimate to your question.

Click on Courses and choose what you need. Or search for what you want help in — I searched for ‘percentages’ and several good webpages showed up.
