    multiply ft/s by 60 s/min to get ft/min
11 ft/s ( 60 s/ min) --- > 11 * 60 ft/min
if it were 11 alligators per swamp
and you wanted to know how many alligators in ten swamps you would do:
10 swamps * (11 alligators / swamp) = 110 alligators
the "swamps" cancels top and bottom and you are left with alligators, assuming none died.
