Mia has a bag of candy. She has 6 kitkats, 5 twit, and 2 crush bars. What is the probability that Mia will NOT choose a twin if she randomly puts her hand into the bag and pulls out a candy bar? Show all your work.

To figure out probabilities, first thing you do is add up the total number of items. 6+5+2=13
The answer to that is your denominator.
From now on I'll be refering to the Twix as 'x'. With problems like this (finding the probability of not picking something) the formula is to subtract x from the denominator.
13-5=8
The answer to this is your numerator. So your answer is 8/13.
