An elevator moves at a constant speed of 2m/s for most of its journey. Estimate the time needed to travel up a 12-story building in this elevator. Plz SHOW work and answer. Thanks.

1 story is about 10 feet. Convert that to meters. Find total distance. Divide total distance to travel by velocity for time

One meter = .3 story
One story then = 3.1 meters
(12*3.1)/2 = x
x = time in seconds.
