The prompt is the following:

Compare the main characteristics of the development and expansion of two post-classical kingdoms/empires during the period between 600 - 1450 C.E.. Discuss both similarities and differences. Use the six themes as starting points for your comparisons, and narrow your focus to 3 specific topics.

We are required to use two similarities and one difference, or two differences and one similarity. I plan on talking about China and the Middle East. One of my talking points is going to be how access to trade was very similar, since both regions had access to the Silk Road. Still need to figure out what the other two are going to be. The six themes are:

Humans and the Environment
Cultural Developments and Interactions
Governance
Economic Systems
Social Interactions and Organization
Technology and Innovation
