Question says " Are events E & F mutually exlusive". I am given E = {a,b} and F = {a,d,f}.
I think they are not. I think that if they were mutually exclusive, they would not have any elements in common right? Because I see that E and F have a in common. And by mutually exclusive, would this mean if E and F were separate from each other?

Separate as in if you were to draw a venn diagram, the circle for e would not connect with the circle for f.
