adding (-3x + 12) ... 4y = -3x + 12
dividing by 4 ... y = -3/4 x + 3
y = m x + b ... -3/4 is the slope ... 3 is the y-intercept
dividing by 4 ... y = -3/4 x + 3
y = m x + b ... -3/4 is the slope ... 3 is the y-intercept

henry2,
3x + 4y - 12 = 0.
3x + 4y =12,
Y = mx + b.
m = -A/B = -3/4.
b = C/B = -12/4 = -3.
3x + 4y =12,
Y = mx + b.
m = -A/B = -3/4.
b = C/B = -12/4 = -3.
