Reduce the equation to one of the standard forms y^2 =x^2 +(1/9)z^2

it's just a standard hyperboloid, right?
Normally, that is shown as x^2/a^2 + y^2/b^2 - z^2/c^2 = 1
Yours has the axis in the y direction, but other than that it's just a matter of rearranging the terms.
