Are you saying the problem looks like (9-3) / (1/3) +1? If so, the answer is 19. If you mean (9-3) / (1/3 +1), then you get (6)/(4/3) = 4.5. Whatever, good luck.

or, 9 - 3/(1/3) + 1 = 9 - 9 + 1 = 1
