What do you think would happen blood entering the heart mixed with blood leaving the heart?

the organism would not be able to get the oxygen it needs, since blood with no oxygen is being pumped out along with blood with the oxygen an organism needs to survive. not getting enough oxygen means less metabolic activity occurring in cells of the body, which means potential death and a significant loss of energy in an organism.
