A uniform rectangular marble slab is 3.4m and 2.0m wide.it has a mass of 180kg.its originally lying on surface flat ground. How much work is needed to stand it on It's short end? pls with formula need

The center of mass is also the center of the rectangle.
To stand it on a short end, the center of mass must thus be lifted 1.7m

Now just apply the usual formula for work, which I'm sure you have:
work = weight * distance
