The center of mass is also the center of the rectangle.
To stand it on a short end, the center of mass must thus be lifted 1.7m
Now just apply the usual formula for work, which I'm sure you have:
work = weight * distance
A uniform rectangular marble slab is 3.4m and 2.0m wide.it has a mass of 180kg.its originally lying on surface flat ground. How much work is needed to stand it on It's short end? pls with formula need
