Read these lines from Siegfried Sassoon's "Dreamers."
"And mocked by hopeless longing to regain/Bank holidays, and picture shows, and spats,/And going to the office in the train."

Is it A (or D)? (I saw that it might be D floating around somewhere but I don't know why. The second line really seems like parallelism to me)

The answer is A. parallelism because it is only asking for these lines in the poem, not the whole poem which will make it D. an allusion. Please do not give wrong information to students, they are trying their best and are under a lot of stress.
