    I'm assuming you meant
(2/3)a * 2/a^2
= (2a*2)/(3a^2)
= 4/(3a)
well, that wasn't there, so I guess it was
2/(3a) * 2/a^2
= (2*2)/(3a*a^2)
= 4/(3a^3)
    
(2/3)a * 2/a^2
= (2a*2)/(3a^2)
= 4/(3a)
