I have an experiment that I need to complete it is about how different substances react to another substance. Any ideas for I should do for my experiments? (The substances must be non toxic, ha ha!)

First question... what kind of reaction? There is four kinds:
Synthesis / Direct Combustion
Decomposition reaction
Single Displacement
Double Displacement
Those are just chemical reactions.

You could try two gases(simple hydrogen gas combined with simple oxygen gas) it kinda depends on your resources too.
