you got something against minus signs?
the slope of y = -x-2 is -1
So, the point-slope form of the line through (2,-2) with slope -1 is
y+2 = -1(x-2)
Now massage that into slope-intercept form

y+2 = -1(x-2)

henry2,
Given: (2, -2), Y = -x-2. m = -1.
Y = mx + b.
-2 = (-1)*2 + b.
b = 0.
Eq: Y = -x.
Y = mx + b.
-2 = (-1)*2 + b.
b = 0.
Eq: Y = -x.

here are the answers :)) (pearson 6.6.5 practice)
y=-x (D)
y=3/2x+2(C)
x=4 (D)
y=-2x-1 (B)
y=-1/2x+5/2 (D)
Perp (B)
Parallel (A)
Neither (C)
Sometimes (B)
never (C)
^^ not honors btw!
