Question

I did a lab on refraction through water and my index of refraction was way off and I don't understand why? I did the experiment just as I was told but my results were still way off.

What was your answer? Did you correctly compute the sine of the angles of incidence and refraction? Without seeing what you did, it is very hard to say where you may have made an error.
