Asked by Kathy,

My textbook didn't thoroughly explain this unit very well and now I'm having trouble solving this problem. Can someone help me?

recall that a^2+b^2 = c^2
if the missing leg has length a, then
a^2 + 2^2 = (4√3)^2
a^2 + 4 = 48
a^2 = 44
a = 2√11
