Sarah competes in a long jump competition her first jump is 4.25 m her best jump is 4% more than this however her best jump is 15% lower than the winning jump work out the length of the winning jump

Best jump = 4.25 + 0.04*4.25 = 4.42 m.

Winning jump = X meters.
X - 0.15X = 4.42.
0.85X = 4.42,
X = 5.2 m.
